MySpace was the most popular social networking site in the United States with 57 million unique US users but was subsequently overtaken by Facebook, in April 2008. Still a force to reckon with though, as its strong user base is nothing to sneeze at.

YouTube is a video-sharing website on which users can upload, share, and view videos. In November 2006, YouTube, LLC was bought by Google Inc. for $1.65 billion, and is now operated as a subsidiary of Google. YouTube is the largest video sharing site in the world.
